On 03 February 2021, representatives of Central Retail in Vietnam visited Fatherland Front Committees of Hai Duong province & Chi Linh District (Hai Duong province) to donate necessities such as food ingredients (cooking oil, sauce, seasoning, instant noodles, etc.) and essential goods (masks, hand sanitizers, medical gloves, diapers, etc.) with a total value of 200 million VND. On the occasion, suppliers of Big C / GO! Have also donated 5 tons of assorted vegetables as ingredients to the kitchens across Hai Duong province, which will be cooked into nutritious & safe meals for the frontline doctors & nurses at hospitals, medical centers as well as the quarantined…
On the same day, Central Retail in Vietnam also donated essential goods and food valuing 130 million VND to people at Van Don District (Quang Ninh province) as well as 3 tons of assorted vegetables sponsored by GO! / Big C suppliers, quickly supplying to quarantined areas in Quang Ninh and contributing to the fight against Covid-19.

– On August 6, 2020, representatives of Central Retail in Vietnam visited the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang City and the Center for Disease Control of Da Nang City to donate 10 tons of vegetables and fruits to assist the logistics against Covid-19 pandemic. The donation consisted of 10 tons of quality vegetables and fruits that can be found at Big C Hypermarkets (cabbage, pumpkin, zucchini, tomato, carrot, bok choy, cabbage, cucumber, cove beans, onion, sweet potato, kohlrabi, chayote, lettuce roll, lemon, passion fruit, avocado); 9 tons of which went to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang City while the rest went to the Center for Disease Control of Da Nang City. These ingredients were then sent to the collective kitchens in Da Nang City to be cooked into nutritious and safe meals that served the frontline doctors & nurses in hospitals, medical centers as well as the quarantined.
– On 20 August 2020, representatives of Central Retail in Vietnam visited the People’s Committee of Hai Duong province to donate 20,000 medical masks, 500 bottles of hand sanitizers and 5 tons of foods of all kinds. These goods were then transferred to Hai Duong’s General Hospital, quickly supplying the frontline doctors and nurses as well as the quarantined.
