Central Retail donated 6,000 RDT test kits to Can Tho City to support the fight against Covid-19

Amid the complicated Covid-19 situation across southern cities and provinces, on 13th August 2021, Central Retail in Vietnam donated 6,000 RDT test kits that worth VND 700 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Can Tho City, joining hands with the municipal authorities to fight against the pandemic.

During the 4th wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Can Tho City are focusing on limiting the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on people’s lives, and are preparing to carry out a campaign of Covid-19 screening and rapid testing. To join hands with the authorities in the fight against the pandemic, the Company has decided to donate the 6,000 Covid-19 RDT test kits in hopes of contributing to the city’s effort to early detect the positive cases, and put the pandemic under control.

Previously, on 16th July 2021, Central Retail in Vietnam donated 1,500 beds for Covid-19 treatment that worth VND 750 million to 2 field hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City. The Company has also pledged VND 10 billion in response to the Government’s call for contribution to the national vaccination program. These actions once again reaffirm the Company’s Vision of “contributing to Vietnam’s prosperity and enhancing the quality of life of the people.”
