Central Retail Drives Domestic Goods Consumption in Central Region, Opens Doors for Local Suppliers

On June 28, Central Retail in Vietnam participated in the Central Region Trade Promotion and Export Development Conference held in Da Nang. The conference was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang; Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People’s Committee – Le Quang Nam, and representatives from departments and agencies from 17 provinces and cities across the country.

Mr. Paul Le, Vice President of Central Retail Vietnam in charge of Trade Promotion and Export of the Vietnamese products, took center stage with a keynote speech. He championed the crucial role that our distribution system play in boosting domestic goods consumption, with pricing offer to increase power purchase, collaboration with local businesses for their entering to modern trade and later enhancement of their capability to approach international markets.

As a testament to this dedication, he highlighted the company’s recent success – exporting Bac Giang lychee from the 2024 season to Tops, Tops Food Hall, and Tops Fine Food supermarkets under Central Group in Thailand.

Solidifying the commitment to empwering local businesses and communities, Central Retail’s commercial team actively connected with 150 suppliers from 17 provinces and cities. This collaboration involved researching over 300 agricultural, food, and non-food products, paving the way for potential partnerships. Following these connections, 44 promising businesses were selected for priority negotiations.

Central Retail Vietnam’s proactive approach of connecting with local suppliers opens doors for their products to reach Vietnamese consumers, at competitive prices.
