Ho Chi Minh City, 22 April 2020 – Big C, member of Central Retail in Vietnam, has launched online shopping feature on Chopp application in Ho Chi Minh City in hopes of providing convenient & safe shopping experience for customers during Covid-19 pandemic and reducing customer flows in physical stores to practice social distancing as required by the Government. Chopp is a shopping & delivery service that partners with a network of reputable supermarkets and grocery stores. From April 2020, Big C customers in Ho Chi Minh City can easily order goods through chopp.vn website as well as the Chopp mobile app on iOS / Android. Customers in Ho Chi Minh City are just a few simple steps away from ordering a wide range of products (fresh foods, vegetables, fresh fruits, frozen / canned foods, beverages, spices, personal care products, mom & baby products, etc.)

Big C customers can now easily make orders online for bills of 200.000 VND or higher. Chopp also allows customers to select preferred time of delivery within Ho Chi Minh City (except District 12, Binh Tan, Hoc Mon, Binh Chanh, Cu Chi, Can Gio). The orders will be processed and placed at one of the 3 Big C supermarkets in Ho Chi Minh City, namely Big C An Phu, Big C Thao Dien, and Big C Au Co. The goods will then be delivered in insulated boxes to ensure freshness upon receiving.
