On June 23, Ms. Jariya Chirathivat, the Legal Representative of Central Retail in Vietnam together with the other 2 Representatives from Vietnam office, attended the Vietnam – Thailand Business Forum held in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Forum, with the participation of Vice President of Vietnam, H.E. Mrs. Vo Thi Anh Xuan; H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand; Mr. Sanan Angubokul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, and Ms. Irene Natividad, President of the Global Summit of Women aims to create more significant opportunities for businesses from both countries to establish partnerships and promote bilateral trade ties.
In the introductory speech, Mr. Sanan Angubokul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, highly appreciated the efforts of Central Retail in Vietnam to help export the “Thieu lychee”, the best lychee variety from Bac Giang Province of Vietnam to the distribution network in Thailand.
The representatives of Central Retail in Vietnam also brought lychee from Bac Giang Province to nicely display with decorated packaging at the Forum at Centara Convention Center and received a lot of attention from top-level government and business networking. It also served as a special gift for the Vice President of Vietnam and Ambassador of Vietnam, representing our kind commitment to be a bridge connecting trade cooperation between the two countries.
This effort one more time affirms our commitment to promoting lychee consumption across our retail channel in Vietnam and creating export opportunities for this specialty to international markets, realizing our Vision of contributing to Vietnam’s prosperity and enhancing the quality of life of the people.
