Central Retail in Vietnam to donate 4 negative pressure rooms against zcovid-19 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city

Ho Chi Minh City, 26 March 2020, Amidst the growing situation of Covid-19 pandemic, in response to the call from the government, Central Retail in Vietnam donated 4 negative pressure rooms to hospitals worth 2 billion VND in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. This action was a testimonial of the company’s Vision of “contributing to Vietnam’s prosperity and enhancing the quality of life of the people.”

These negative pressure rooms are fully equipped with medical & emergency equipment used for isolating patients who are suspected of being infected with Covid-19 or waiting for the second test result. The medical staff can communicate with the patients through camera to avoid cross-contamination. 2 rooms were donated to hospitals in Hanoi while the rest went to Ho Chi Minh City.

A representative of Central Retail in Vietnam said: “Understanding the urgent need of negative pressure rooms to avoid cross-contamination and potential outbreak, we dedicate this donation to join hands with the government and authorities in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.”

Besides the medical support, the food stores of Central Retail in Vietnam have been working tirelessly in accordance with the Government’s regulations to accommodate the growing shopping needs with the best price.
