As an annual community initiative, Central Retail in Vietnam collaborates with local authorities where GO!, Big C, and Tops Market operate, to arrange Tet charity programs – Tet Nhan Ai which allow our store teams presenting Tet gift bags to local families under difficult circumstance, enabling them to enjoy the spirit of Tet. 

This Lunar New Year of 2024, representatives from 47 GO!, Big C and Tops Market branches nationwide help distribute 4,700 gift bags, totaling nearly 1 billion VND, composed of essentials such as cooking oil, fish sauce, MSG, and sugar to the localities where the stores have operation.

One of the highlights of the events that we had the special participation of famous artist Quyen Linh to join the team of Big C Thang Long in Hanoi together with the Red Cross Society of Trung Hoa Ward to hold the Tet Nhan Ai event for the local community. During this event, 100 gift bags were handed out to local households under special circumstances. Speaking at the event, Quyen Linh conveyed his hopes for Central Retail to spearhead more initiatives that connect consumers give back to underprivileged communities.

Over 14 years, Tet Nhan Ai has given nearly 30,000 Tet gifts to people in challenging situations nationwide, totaling a value of nearly 5.5 billion VND.

This initiative demonstrates Central Retail’s dedication to promoting the spirit of solidarity aside actively participating in social welfare activities, as part of the company’s commitment to “enhancing the quality of life for Vietnamese people.”
