On 06 June 2020, GO!/ Big C – a member of Central Retail in Vietnam was invited to the “Conference to promote the consumption of lychee” in Bac Giang kicking off the lychee season this year. At the event, our representative was honored to join Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in the ribbon cutting ceremony sending off Central Retail trucks delivering lychees to GO!/ Big C/ Lan Chi stores nationwide and exporting this specialty to Thailand. 

A representative of Central Retail in Vietnam said: “With a series of lychee promotion activities being implemented on Central Retail’s store chain, we estimate to consume about 1,000 tons during the 2020 season, an increase of 3 times compared to last year’s lychee crop. Those lychees are directly sourced from the farmers and cooperatives to ensure good quality at best market price for our customers, reassuring our commitment to contribute to Vietnam’s prosperity and to enhance the quality of life of the people”
