On 17 August 2026, Central Retail Vietnam (CRV), led by Mr Ton Chirathivat, a Founding Family Member and President – Projects, met with leaders of Quang Ninh Province to discuss closer cooperation, investment and the continued development of modern retail.
During the meeting with Mr Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, CRV provided an overview of the Group’s operations and development strategy, while sharing its interest in further investment in Quang Ninh.

CRV operates GO! Ha Long, serving the shopping needs of local residents and visitors. With confidence in Quang Ninh’s growth potential and a long-term commitment to Vietnam, the Group is keen to explore opportunities to expand its retail presence.
Alongside its expansion plans, CRV aims to strengthen partnerships with local suppliers and create broader market access for Quang Ninh’s agricultural produce, OCOP products and local specialities through the Group’s distribution network. Through these efforts, CRV seeks to support job creation, strengthen local supply chains and deliver sustainable value for local communities.

At the meeting, Mr Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, welcomed CRV’s interest in further investment as the province enters a new phase of development, supported by new growth opportunities and economic drivers. The province also expressed its hope that CRV would draw on its modern retail expertise to share knowledge and strengthen sales, management and business capabilities among local workers and businesses, contributing to Quang Ninh’s trade and services sector and local talent development.

On the same day, the CRV delegation met with Mr Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, together with representatives of relevant provincial departments and agencies. Discussions focused on expanding CRV’s distribution network, including potential new retail locations aligned with the province’s planning and development priorities.

Vice Chairman Le Van Anh called on relevant departments and local authorities to coordinate closely and facilitate CRV’s efforts to explore investment opportunities and complete the necessary procedures in accordance with applicable regulations. The meetings further reinforced the positive partnership between Quang Ninh and CRV, opening up opportunities for cooperation in modern retail, local supply chain integration and talent development, with the shared ambition of creating meaningful and sustainable value for local communities.
