Central Retail Vietnam Signs MOU on Human Resource Development in Ha Tinh

On 11 May, as part of the working visit to Ha Tinh Province by H.E. Karl Van den Bossche, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam, Central Retail in Vietnam was honoured to participate in the working session with provincial leaders and relevant stakeholders to promote cooperation in socio-economic development, investment and local workforce development.

During the programme, Central Retail in Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ha Tinh Department of Home Affairs on human resource development in the retail sector. The agreement reflects Central Retail Vietnam’s long-term commitment to expanding career opportunities, enhancing the quality of the local workforce and supporting the development of talent for the modern retail industry.

Under the cooperation framework, Central Retail in Vietnam will work closely with local authorities to implement recruitment connectivity initiatives, job fairs, career orientation programmes, retail skills workshops and career awareness initiatives for labours in Ha Tinh, with a particular focus on supermarket operations and Fresh Food positions. In addition, Central Retail Vietnam aims to further develop the local retail talent pool through career development initiatives and operational skills enhancement programmes in the future.

Through this partnership, Central Retail in Vietnam aims to contribute to the development of the local retail workforce and build a strong candidate pipeline to support current and future operational needs in Ha Tinh. This also forms part of the company’s ongoing “Better For Vietnam” strategy through community development initiatives and investment in people.
