On 25th November, Central Retail Vietnam proudly participated in the  Central Group I-CARE Games 2023: “Better Together, Sustainable Sports” at Chulalongkorn University Sports Center.

This is the first time the event was organized and held under the “Central Tham” initiative, brought together teams from all business units – Central Retail, Central Pattana (CPN), Centara Hotels & Resorts, and Central Retail in Vietnam (CRV) to promote sustainability and sportsmanship within Central Group.

Representing CRV were members of the NK football team and six participants from GO! Hypermarket and Sports & Lifestyle, engaging in the badminton competition. Throughout the event, the teams competed in three rounds, with the GO! Hypermarket team achieving remarkable success by winning the Gold Medal in Badminton Men’s Doubles and an impressive Bronze Medal in Badminton Women’s Doubles. Additionally, the Sports & Lifestyle team proudly secured the Bronze Medal in Badminton Mixed Doubles, while the Nguyen Kim football team earned the Bronze Medal in the Football competition.

The players received cheers and support from our Group CEO, Mr. Olivier Langlet, along with other members of the management team and colleagues from Vietnam.

We firmly believe that sports serve as a unifying force, bringing us together as ONE TEAM, regardless of our locations. Through engagement events like this, we aim to elevate the spirit of teamwork and collaboration to new heights.
