On 10 June 2026, in Bangkok, Ms. Jariya Chirathivat, Chairwoman of the Thai-Vietnam Business Council and Chief Sustainability Officer, Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited (4th from left), together with the Council’s board members, held discussions with Mr. Ngo Hai Phan, Director General of the Office for Digital Transformation and Cryptography and Deputy Head of the Assistant Working Group to the Central Steering Committee overseeing the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation (5th from left), during his visit to Thailand.

The meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam, with a focus on greater integration and the reduction of practical, regulatory, tax, and licensing barriers. These efforts are intended to enhance the ease of doing business and promote sustainable investment between the two countries.

The discussion was attended by members of the Council and leading private-sector representatives from both nations and was held at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok recently.
