On 5 June, at the Thailand–Vietnam Business Forum 2026 (TVBF 2026), held in celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Vietnam, Dr. Ton Chirathivat, General Director and Chief Digital Officer of Central Retail Vietnam, represented Thailand’s business community in sharing the vision of “Growing Together”, highlighting the role of bilateral collaboration in creating shared value and driving sustainable growth.

During the panel discussion, “Thailand and Viet Nam: Next Growth Engine,” Dr. Ton reaffirmed Central Retail Vietnam’s long-term commitment to serving as a bridge between the two economies through its “Better for Vietnam” initiative – a strategic framework built on three key pillars:
𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 – In 2025 alone, Central Retail Vietnam sourced more than 60 million kilograms of fruits and vegetables from over 2,000 farmers and suppliers across the country. The company also organised more than 250 promotional campaigns and trade activities, while connecting over 1,300 SMEs to modern retail supply chains.

𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Central Retail Vietnam continues to provide consumers with access to healthier and more sustainable choices through a portfolio of more than 380 organic and specialty products, alongside over 240 products certified under the Responsible Green Tick Programme.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 – With 99.5% of its workforce comprised of Vietnamese employees, Central Retail Vietnam continues to develop high-quality local talent through leadership and professional development programmes, including the Management Associate (MA) Programme. At the same time, the company creates long-term value for communities through educational initiatives, livelihood support and local development programmes, including One Mall One School, which has already benefited nearly 10,000 students nationwide.
