Launch Ceremony of the “Responsible Green Tick – Joining Hands for Community Health” Program at Central Retail Vietnam

On February 28, at GO! An Lac (HCMC), Central Retail in Vietnam hosted the launch ceremony for the “𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤” program. This event marked a significant step forward in the collective effort to promote Launch Ceremony of the “Responsible Green Tick – Joining Hands for Community Health” Program at Central Retail Vietnam community health and build a sustainable and safe retail environment.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of leaders from the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council, representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, Lam Dong Province Department of Industry and Trade, along with numerous businesses, suppliers, and customers.

During the event, representatives of Central Retail Vietnam gathered valuable feedback from participating suppliers. Additionally, 15 pioneering fresh food suppliers were recognized for their early collaboration with the company in implementing the program. Notably, three new suppliers also attended to explore and join the initiative.

Mr. Jose Mestre, Fresh Food Commercial Director of Central Retail Vietnam, emphasized, “We believe that consumer support for ‘Responsible Green Tick’ products will encourage more suppliers to join the program, fostering a sustainable, safe, and responsible retail environment. Collaboration with suppliers also allows us to source high-quality goods that meet the growing demand for safe and transparent products.”

The “Responsible Green Tick” program is a collaborative initiative between the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and major distribution systems to enhance product quality control and build a secure and sustainable supply chain. Mr. Nguyen Phuong, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, commended Central Retail’s pioneering role and expressed confidence that the program would succeed significantly.
