On 3 July 2025, GO! Hue hypermarket, a member of Central Retail in Vietnam, teamed up with WWF-Vietnam to launch the “Plastic Bag-Free Month 2025” campaign. As part of the initiative, GO! Hue will stop distributing plastic bags at checkout every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, running through 31 July. The campaign encourages reusable bags, aims to raise awareness, and promotes sustainable shopping habits.

The event welcomed Mr. Hoang Ngoc Son (Deputy Director, Hue City Department of Industry and Trade), Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc (Director, Hue City Department of Foreign Affairs), representatives from Central Retail Vietnam, GO! Hue, WWF-Vietnam, local authorities, partners, and businesses.
