Central Retail Shares Insights on Logistics Career Path with Students

On the morning of September 20th, representatives from Central Retail in Vietnam delivered a keynote address at the “๐’๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐„๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ฌ – ๐’๐ก๐š๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐…๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‹๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฌ” talk show, organized by the College of Foreign Economic Relations (COFER) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade for first and second-year Logistics students.

During the event, Ms. Thai Thi Thu Thao, Human Resources Director at Central Retail, highlighted the logistics sector as a highly competitive industry with immense growth potential. She stressed the importance of building a skilled workforce to support the ongoing development of Vietnamโ€™s retail sector. Ms. Thao also shared practical, actionable advice on the skills and competencies essential for success, helping students gain deeper insights into their chosen career path.

In response to inquiries about internship and employment opportunities for COFERโ€™s Logistics students, Ms. Thao emphasized that Central Retail and COFER would work closely together to develop effective and mutually beneficial strategies.

Adding to the discussion, Mr. Paul Le, Vice President, of Vietnam Trade Promotion – Central Retail Vietnam emphasized that Central Retail, with nearly 80 years of experience in the Thai retail industry and over 12 years in Vietnam, along with its experienced management team from various countries, is dedicated to partnering with educational institutions to elevate the quality of Vietnamโ€™s retail talent. This commitment is essential to meet the evolving needs of a market-driven and globally integrated economy. This talk show is a key part of the ongoing collaboration between Central Retail Vietnam and COFER. By fostering this partnership, both organizations aim to equip students with the skills they need while contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnamโ€™s retail industry, in alignment with Central Retailโ€™s vision to support the nationโ€™s prosperity.
