On the morning of September 20th, representatives from Central Retail in Vietnam delivered a keynote address at the “๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐๐ฌ – ๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ” talk show, organized by the College of Foreign Economic Relations (COFER) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade for first and second-year Logistics students.
During the event, Ms. Thai Thi Thu Thao, Human Resources Director at Central Retail, highlighted the logistics sector as a highly competitive industry with immense growth potential. She stressed the importance of building a skilled workforce to support the ongoing development of Vietnamโs retail sector. Ms. Thao also shared practical, actionable advice on the skills and competencies essential for success, helping students gain deeper insights into their chosen career path.
In response to inquiries about internship and employment opportunities for COFERโs Logistics students, Ms. Thao emphasized that Central Retail and COFER would work closely together to develop effective and mutually beneficial strategies.
Adding to the discussion, Mr. Paul Le, Vice President, of Vietnam Trade Promotion – Central Retail Vietnam emphasized that Central Retail, with nearly 80 years of experience in the Thai retail industry and over 12 years in Vietnam, along with its experienced management team from various countries, is dedicated to partnering with educational institutions to elevate the quality of Vietnamโs retail talent. This commitment is essential to meet the evolving needs of a market-driven and globally integrated economy. This talk show is a key part of the ongoing collaboration between Central Retail Vietnam and COFER.
