On the evening of May 29th, celebrating the Mid- Lunar Year Festival – Tet Doan Ngo, Central Retail in Vietnam organized the opening ceremony of the 3rd Fruit Festival at GO! My Tho.
The event, running from May 29th to June 1st, is a collaborative effort with the Department of Industry and Trade of Tien Giang province and features participation from provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, Long An, Binh Phuoc, Ben Tre, Bac Giang, and Son La.

This initiative aims to recognize the outstanding quality of Vietnamese agricultural produce and establish a vital link between producers and consumers across the nation, guided by the “Better For Vietnam” strategy.
The 2025 Fruit Festival has garnered the participation of approximately 43 businesses, cooperatives, and prominent fruit distributors from various provinces and cities, presenting a diverse array of specialty fruits to consumers.

Mr. Olivier Langlet, Group CEO of Central Retail Vietnam, stated at the opening ceremony: “The Fruit Festival brings our consumers ripe, high-quality fruits from all over the country to the GO!, Tops Market, and mini go! nationwide – from the fertile Mekong Delta to the northern mountainous provinces.
At Central Retail, we believe that quality food should be accessible to everyone. That’s why our strategy of ‘Always 5% cheaper than the lowest price on the market’ ensures that top-quality, clearly sourced, and safe fruits will always be reasonably priced for every family – while also fostering a stronger and more competitive local supply chain.”

Furthermore, we organized business matching session to enable our Commercial team to directly engage with suppliers of fruits, processed foods, OCOP products, and regional specialties. This initiative aims to diversify our sourcing methods and introduce a wider range of local products to the market through our nationwide retail network.
More than just an opportunity to showcase the best seasonal fruits, the event also serves as a bridge between farmers and modern consumers through a Durian Buffet.

The Fruit Festival is concurrently being held across Central Retail Vietnam’s food retail stores chain until June 1st – Central Retail is proud to contribute to promoting the value of Vietnamese agricultural products.
