Central Retail and MOIT Partners to promote Vietnamese Coffee at the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo

Central Retail in Vietnam joined forces with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) to showcase Vietnamese coffee at the 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐦 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City on June 6, 2024.

 𝐌𝐫. 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐭, 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦, emphasized the company’s commitment to Vietnam’s development. “As the leading FDI retail group in Vietnam,” he stated, “we are proud to play a strong role in supporting Vietnamese businesses reach the global market.”

“Central Retail wants to work closely with Vietnamese coffee businesses and together bring unique products to conquer the international market through specific R&D initiatives such as: Identifying and developing high-value coffee products; Improving capacity and meeting international standards; Connecting Vietnamese coffee with international distributors. Through strategic vision, close cooperation, and unwavering efforts, Vietnamese coffee will gain a stronger foothold on the international market” Mr. Olivier Langlet added.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐓𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐡 – 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞-𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐌𝐎𝐈𝐓, welcomed Central Retail’s initiative. “We appreciate their bold proposal to promote the Vietnamese coffee industry as a whole,” he said. “This collaboration has the potential to significantly strengthen the sector’s position in the global market.”

At Central Retail’s pavilion at the Exhibition, the Group offered a comprehensive look at the Vietnamese coffee industry, with its coffee partners such as #KCoffee, #Adore, #LeCaiffa, #LittleGreenCyclo – representing 05 categories of the Vietnamese coffee industry, including: Roasted and Ground coffee; Instant Coffee; Capsules Coffee; Canned coffee (Ready to go Coffee) and the coffee shop model.

Central Retail aims to encourage Vietnamese coffee businesses to look for developing in the direction of enhancing the value chain, processing and diversifying the coffee portfolio instead of exporting raw materials as before.

This showcase aimed to introduce high-quality Vietnamese coffee to international buyers. Central Retail hopes to connect Vietnamese coffee businesses with potential partners and customers, fostering market expansion and brand development.

Also at this booth, visitors would have the opportunity to learn and experience environmentally friendly packaging solutions through partner HRK; and practice recycling plastic bottles and aluminum cans with the Sparklo reverse vending machine.
