On 05 February 2020, GO!/Big C, member of Central Retail in Vietnam, organized a special promotion program to boost the consumption of dragon fruits and watermelons from provinces such as Binh Thuan, Gia Lai, Long An, Tien Giang, etc. thus solving the output issues caused by Covid-19. During the promotion, the goods will be sold with zero profit in hopes of increasing demand and supporting farmers to overcome difficulties.

A representative of Central Retail in Vietnam said: “Our program will run throughout our stores from 05 February until the stocks are stable. We hope to consume about 40,000 tons of dragon fruits and watermelons respectively so that farmers can overcome challenges and consumers can get their hands on high quality fruits with best price. This program is a testimonial for our Vision of contributing to Vietnam’s prosperity and enhancing the quality of life of the people.”
