On 17 June 2026, in Bangkok, Ms Jariya Chirathivat, Chairwoman of the Thailand-Vietnam Business Council and Chief Sustainability Officer of Central Retail Corporation (6th from left), together with members of the Council and executives from leading Thai private-sector companies, met with Mr. Truong Viet Dung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee (7th from left), during his visit to Thailand. The discussion aimed to strengthen bilateral economic relations and foster closer collaboration between the Thai private sector and the Vietnamese public sector, while creating tangible opportunities for Thai trade and investment in Hanoi.
The meeting brought together senior representatives from government agencies and private-sector organisations from both countries, reflecting a shared commitment to deepening economic cooperation and expanding business partnerships in support of sustainable growth. The event was held at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok Hotel recently.
